Though based out of eastern South Dakota, I do travel all over. 60 miles roundtrip for each the engagement session and wedding is included. After that, the government standard rate per mile round trip will be added to your invoice. If travel is 2+ hours or our coverage extends past 9pm, we apply a hotel fee. For destination weddings all travel is custom quoted.

Do you travel for weddings?

I consider myself a fine-art light and airy type of photographer. My editing is on the lighter end to make sure you have images that last for generations to come. Films are more true-to-color, but still have a lighter editing feel. I do not alter my artistic editing style.

what is your style?

I use several mirrorless cameras and RF lenses, for both photos and films. Each camera holds two SD cards to ensure we always have a backup of your content. Once I get home, I immediately backup your files to two external drives, so you have 4 backups. Once delivered through an online gallery, I guarantee to keep a copy, of your edited files, on hand for 1 year.

what equiptment do you use?

To officially book your date, you will pay a 50% retainer on your online invoice. Taxes may vary. Then, the remaining amount is due 30 days before your wedding. There is a 10% late fee per week the invoice is overdue. No content (images or film) will start processing or be delivered until paid in full. You can pay your invoice at any time, in any amount, on your online portal.

what is your payment policy?

If your collection includes a second shooter, then yes. If I choose to bring a second shooter along with at my own expense to assist me, I cannot guarantee you will receive content from them. You are welcome to add on a second shooter as well to your invoice after booking!

do you bring a 2nd shooter?

I do occasionally capture weddings or sessions for photographers or videographers who pay me for the RAW images or film files. For non-photographer clients wanting raw files, they can be quoted to you but are very expensive ($X,XXX+) and client will provide USB and pay for shipping.

For films, you can purchase a RAW Documentary Film that is one single video compiled of individual video clips taken throughout your entire day of raw (un-edited) footage. This footage may be shaky or blurry at times and will have raw audio attached.

Can we have the raw photos and film?

Depending on your wedding package, it may include a waved engagement session fee with a credit to use to purchase heirloom products and digital bundles on a virtual ordering appointment. These sessions allow couples to get used to me and my posing methods too so you know what to expect at your wedding. 

are engagement sessions included?

To book, we will schedule a booking call to create a drafted timeline to ensure you have enough coverage for your wedding day vision. My base full day packages include up to 8 hours of coverage, but often is customized. All coverage ends by 9pm or overtime and a hotel for the night is added to your invoice after our timeline planning call so my team can make it home safely.

how many hours of coverage do i get?

Full highlight films take 6-8 weeks to rewatch all the footage, edit, sync audio and licensed background music. Teasers are posted within 7 days after your wedding. Documentary RAW films and ceremony, speeches, or first dance edits are delivered after you've recieved your highlight film.

when do we get our highlight film back?

what is the next step after inquiring?

The number of photos depends on your day and the amount of coverage length, details, and how large your family and bridal party are. Your entire edited gallery is returned within 1 week.

how many photos do we get and when?

Typically, couples book me within 9-18 months for larger weddings or 6-9 months for destination and intimate weddings (less than 50 guests).
